Oh Mason: It's such a blessing to have a golden spirit like this in our home. Our lives have been so rich with love (and challenges😉) but when that smile lights up the room and warms your heart--all cares literally melt away and you remember what life really is about -family. My hope is that my other kids get to develop more patience, compassion, and acceptance that can only be developed in this special family circumstance. The road is hard and some days make me fall to my knees in defeat, but that's exactly where God wants me to be--depending on Him to guide me to answers for my child because he holds a special place for him in His heart, too. My relationship with God has been strengthened as I have embarked on this journey of motherhood and made me realize more than ever that we are not to go through life alone.
